Aximum Industrie & the French Fab: reinventing the French road industry

We’re proud to announce that Aximum Industrie is joining the ranks of French Fab, a government initiative that promotes and enhances French industry!

The standard of French industry on the move

Launched in 2017 by Bruno Le Maire, French Fab is a group of French companies committed to the development of national industry. It aims to support French innovation by rebuilding a powerful industry that creates jobs and respects the environment.

Its role:

  • Encourage the creation of a dynamic network of French industrial players
  • Assist and guide its members in accessing the public subsidies available to support their industrial activities in France

By joining the French Fab, Aximum Industrie is joining a community of manufacturers with a shared mission: the reindustrialisation of France.

French Fab: an opportunity for our industries to shine

Since its creation, Aximum Industrie has been innovating to produce innovative equipment and infrastructures that meet the challenges of today’s mobility. In fact, our membership of the French Fab is a natural extension of our current activities and of the Colas Group’s corporate social responsibility approach, ACT (Act & Commit Together).

The label is excellent news for our industries, which will now benefit from increased visibility within the French industrial landscape, as Benoît Castex, Director of Aximum Industrie, explains:

We’re proud to be able to demonstrate that we can make high-performance, competitive products in France. French Fab is a guarantee of quality that underlines the efforts made by French manufacturers, particularly in terms of environmental standards, which are not always present elsewhere. It is an essential lever for our international expansion.”

It also provides an opportunity for our industries to forge links and partnerships with other French manufacturers. “We need to stand shoulder to shoulder with other French manufacturers and form a united front.”

What are the ambitions for tomorrow’s industry?

When asked about his vision for the future of Aximum Industrie, Benoît Castex identifies three fundamental pillars. In his view, the industry of tomorrow must be innovative, responsible (from an ethical, social and environmental point of view) and attractive to young people.

“It is crucial to include a social dimension, by creating an environment that is conducive to attracting new talent. This involves initiatives such as professional training, HR campaigns, open days for students…”
