Choosing an eco-responsible road signage makes it possible to take action quickly and concretely to preserve the environment. This approach entails adopting materials and technologies that minimise the environmental impact of road equipment while still maintaining high levels of road safety.
By opting for signage panels made from biosourced and recyclable materials, such as the panels in the Symbiose range, or environmentally friendly marking products, water-based paints or hot-melt plant-based coatings, we are participating in reducing the carbon footprint of road signage while still ensuring the safety of road users.

The panels are manufactured at our Chambourg-sur-Indre site from renewable plant raw materials. The wooden supports are certified 100% French.
A zero waste solution
Bio-compostable, Symbiose panels make it possible to have no waste when they are manufactured and at the end of their life (excluding film).
The Symbiose range comes in signage panels and local signage and is perfect for pedagogical and tourist presentations located on natural and cultural sites. Thanks to its design and its environmental qualities, Symbiose is the ideal solution for signage in natural areas and cycle routes.
Plant resin-based hot-melt coatings
Plant resin-based hot-melt coatings
Aximum offers a full range of hot-melt coatings with a plant resin base for shoe applications, with the curtain technique, as a spray or for rumble markings, using the "spot" technique or strips. Choosing thermoplastic markings allows for minimum trouble during the work thanks to ultra-fast drying and traffic can resume immediately.

These coatings are designed with biosourced components, the resin used in the manufacture is a plant-based pine resin.
Eco-responsible zero waste packaging
They are packaged in hot-melt bags which are to be incorporated directly in the melters. As such, they are an integral part of the marking and leave no waste.

Our hot-melt coatings are made in Île-de-France at our Brétigny-sur-Orge site.
Plant-based hot-melt coatings are the ideal solution for markings that are durable, anti-slip and that can withstand intensive road traffic. They are NF Road Equipment and NF Environment certified.
Water-based paints
Water-based paints
Aximum offers a full range of water-based paints for white or yellow markings, designed for permanent or temporary signage. Aximum water-based paints have multiple certifications, allowing for easy management of stocks and worksites. Their very short drying time allows for quick resumption of service.
Favour the circular economy
Our water-based paints are designed from recycled water coming from our factory so as to limit the consumption of water. The buckets in which they are packaged are 75% recyclable.
Air quality is preserved
Using water-based paints has a much lower impact on air quality than a solvent-based paint, which thus preserves the health and safety of the users.
Reduction in waste
All the paint buckets are equipped with Sakapo®, this is a protective bag slid into 25 kg buckets which makes it possible to reduce the weight of non-recyclable or hazardous waste by 65% compared to conventional packaging. The 300 kg drums are provided with Sakafu.

Our water-based paints are manufactured on our production sites in the Haut-de-France and Normandy regions.
Our water-based paints' NF Road Equipment and NF Environment certifications guarantee the technical quality and the low environmental impact of these horizontal signage solutions.
